How much does a Maldives eSIM cost?

How do I install it?
Buy a plan in the Atollo app, then tap install on your order: the app adds the eSIM to your phone directly, so there is no QR code to scan and no activation code to type. Your phone asks you to confirm the new eSIM, and that is the whole install.
One thing worth knowing: your 7 days of validity run from when the eSIM is issued at checkout, not from when you land, so buy on the day you travel rather than a week ahead. Install while you still have Wi-Fi, then select the Atollo eSIM as your data line when you arrive.
Where does it work in the Maldives?
Ooredoo's network covers Malé, Hulhumalé and Velana International Airport, and reaches inhabited islands across the atolls, so you're connected in the capital, at the airport and on local islands, at up to 4G where the network provides it. Resort islands are generally served too, though on a private island the signal depends on how close the nearest tower is.
Every resort runs its own Wi-Fi, so the eSIM earns its keep in the gaps: boat and seaplane transfers, excursions, sandbank trips and staying reachable away from the lobby. Out on open water between atolls, expect coverage to come and go.
Will my phone work with it?
You need a phone that supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. That covers iPhone XS and newer (iPhones sold in mainland China are the main exception; most ship without eSIM), Google Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and most recent flagships from other makers.
To check yours: on iPhone, look for an EID in Settings → General → About; on Android, dial *#06#. If an EID appears, the phone is eSIM-capable. If your phone came from a carrier on an installment plan, confirm it's unlocked before you fly, or the eSIM will install but never connect to Ooredoo.
